Problem

Renovation contractors run each job across scattered tools: estimates in one place, site photos on a phone, expenses in a spreadsheet, and plans in CAD software nobody has on site. Small firms needed one workspace to price the work, coordinate the trades and see what is left of the cost budget, in French or English, from the office and from the site.

Solution

Atero designed and built RenvoDesk as a React and TypeScript application on Supabase. Postgres row-level security isolates each company’s data, so one person can work across several organizations safely. Estimates are saved server-side with calculated totals and edit-conflict protection, and export to French or English PDFs in the browser.

Plans and documents stay with the project. DXF files open read-only in the browser through a three.js CAD viewer, and photos can be sketched over, with every save kept in history. A Fastify API runs AI site notes as durable background jobs: it transcribes a voice note and suggests tasks with assignees and dates for the contractor to review.

A fictional demo workspace mirrors every screen, so prospects can try the product without signing up.

Outcome

Contractors get one workspace per company: projects and clients, estimates with recorded client decisions, team tasks and a company schedule, budget tracking across materials, labour and subcontractors, and project documents. A bilingual landing page and the public demo let prospects explore before creating an account, and 18 Playwright suites cover the main flows end to end.
